Every call we run in Fort Lauderdale comes down to the person who shows up at your door. That’s why we hire slowly and train constantly. Our local crew is background-checked, uniformed, and factory-trained to service nine major residential HVAC brands: Carrier, Trane, Lennox, Goodman, Rheem, York, Daikin, Bryant, and American Standard. They know South Florida humidity, they know salt air corrosion, and they know what a Fort Lauderdale attic feels like in August. More importantly, they know The Garrison Standard. It’s the reason a repair is priced in writing before work starts, guaranteed in writing when it’s done, and covered by a free return visit if it fails within a year.
Styles & brands we work with

Our People
Rafael T., Lead Service Technician
Rafael has been turning wrenches on residential HVAC systems for 16 years, the last seven of them here in Broward County. He carries factory certifications on Carrier, Trane, and Lennox equipment, and he’s the technician we send when a problem has stumped someone else. Rafael specializes in heat pump diagnostics, which matters in Fort Lauderdale because our cooling season runs roughly March through November and heat pumps work year-round. He’s the guy who finds the intermittent fault that only shows up at 3 p.m. on a 92-degree day. Outside of work, Rafael rebuilds old motorcycles and knows every good Cuban coffee window between Sunrise Boulevard and Davie.
Dana K., Senior Installer
Dana leads our heat pump and furnace installations, and she’s been doing full system change-outs for 12 years. She’s certified on Goodman, Rheem, York, and American Standard equipment, and she runs every install by the book, literally. Dana is the reason our installation crews leave the site cleaner than they found it, pull permits when the job calls for one, and walk the homeowner through the new system before driving away. She grew up in Fort Lauderdale and still talks about the time her family’s AC died during a Memorial Day weekend, which is exactly why she treats no-cooling calls with the urgency she does. Her hobby is saltwater fishing, and she’ll tell you the bite off Dania Beach is better than the crowds at Pompano.
Tony M., Service Coordinator
Tony is the voice on the phone when you call (754) 354-6972, and he’s been coordinating HVAC service calls in South Florida for nine years. He knows the dispatch map of Fort Lauderdale cold: Victoria Park, Rio Vista, Sailboat Bend, Poinsettia Heights, Coral Ridge, and every traffic snarl in between. Tony is the reason you get a real person at 2 a.m. and an honest answer about when a technician will arrive. He’s not a salesperson. He asks about the problem, sets the expectation, and schedules the call. When he’s off the clock, Tony coaches youth soccer at Holiday Park and is reportedly undefeated in family dominoes.
Luis G., Apprentice Technician
Luis is in his second year with Dalton Heating & Air Fort Lauderdale and came to us from a technical school program in Miramar. He rides with Rafael on service calls and with Dana on installs, which means he’s learning both sides of the trade, diagnostics and hands-on installation. Luis is already EPA-certified for refrigerant handling, and he’s working through his Bryant and Daikin factory training modules. He’s the person who double-checks the truck inventory, packages the old parts for recycling, and makes sure every job site is swept before we leave. Ask him about the 2007 Honda Civic he’s been restoring, and you’ll get a 20-minute conversation about distributor caps and South Florida rust.
One Standard, Every Job
The names above are the people who show up, but the standard behind them is what keeps every job consistent. Dalton Heating & Air Fort Lauderdale is a Garrison Partners company founded in 2003, and every location operates under The Garrison Code: arrive inside the stated window, price in writing before starting, do the job by the book, leave the site clean, and stand behind the work for a full year. That’s not a wall poster. It’s the checklist our crew works from every day. The Garrison Standard means the written price always comes before the work starts, the written guarantee always accompanies the repair, and if the repair fails inside the guarantee period, the return visit is free. The 365-Day Done Right Promise isn’t a 30-day warranty dressed up with a bigger number. It’s a full year of coverage because a repair that doesn’t hold through a Fort Lauderdale summer isn’t a repair at all. Marco Benitez, Owner, holds this team to that standard on every call, and he’s the one who reads the completed job notes to make sure the standard was met.
